Raymond Kent
National Licensed Coach
Goalkeeper, Speed and Agility Trainer
Raymond believes in playing a free spirited game with the game being the best teacher available to the athlete. He's seen amazing results with this process of player development over his years of coaching. A free spirited athlete is allowed full self-expression by developing skill, technique, speed, strength, and personal confidence. He also knows that there is no substitution for hard work and a commitment to the game.
Raymond is a nationally licensed coach. He has trained goalkeepers and field players since 1992 and his students range from P1, P2, Regional, National and Division 1 athletes. He has an extensive background in both playing and training goalkeepers and structures his goalkeeping training sessions to fit each students independent skills and strengths. He emphasizes tactics, distribution and maintaining a possession game.
Additionally his coaching resume includes: U11 Northwest Nationals Blue (Girls); U14 Northwest Nationals Alletta (Girls); U15, 16, 17 Northwest Nationals Shamrocks (Girls); U13 Emerald City Football Club Green (Girls); U14 Emerald City Football Club (Boys P1); U13 Emerald City Football Club (Boys); U12 Chelsea Blues State Champions (Boys); goal keeper trainer for Washington State Olympic Development Program; 2003 Shorecrest High School and numerous high level collegiate, regional and select players.
What I've learned coaching female athlete's is that they really don't care about what you know until they know how much you care.
