Jeremy a life long resident of WA, began youth soccer with Lake Washington Tynecastle 1, (now Crossfire Club). Tynecastle 1, is one of the first professionally coached teams in the state of WA. Jeremy a part of one of the original powerhouse teams which put the current Crossfire Club on the map. Among the teams many accomplish was competing at the finals of the Tampa Sun Bowl, bringing home a Surf Cup Championship and traveling abroad to England where his team won the prestigious Manchester Cup, the first for a team from the USA.
At Eastlake high school, in Sammamish, Jeremy was a starter for all four years. His senior and junior seasons, he was a team captain and voted MVP.
As a locally recruited college player, Jeremy played 4 years under the guidance of the legendary Cliff McGrath at Seattle Pacific University. Jeremy began training youth players in high school assistant coaching on another team his club coach had. From high school he found a desire to develop players and give back to the sport. During his senior year of college he was given the opportunity to be the head coach of a team and has never looked back. His coaching style brings out the best in young players. In training he focuses on mastering the basic foot skills they will need to compete at a higher level of play. Since graduating from SPU, 2 years ago, Jeremy has coached several premier teams including Highline Heat Bu15 90, Silver Lake Bu11 95, Evergreen Bu12 95, Silver Lake Bu17 89, and Evergreen Bu18 89.
Being a homegrown player/coach Jeremy has a wide array of knowledge regarding the local youth Club experience, WSYSA State ODP system, and playing at the college level. Jeremy’s wealth of soccer knowledge is an invaluable resource for our young people as they make decisions for advancing their soccer careers and planning ahead for college.
