Allen Johnson’s love of soccer began in the youth leagues of North Seattle. Many of the friends he made playing for the local clubs he still plays with today. Allen captained his Shorewood High School team and then played collegiately at Western Washington University and today still plays, coaches and referees.

As an adult Allen has coached for Silver Lake Soccer Club and ESA, in both the recreational and select soccer programs. He also single handedly started and ran the Puget Sound Soccer League in 2000. Running the program from 2000-2005 it soon became the highest competition for men in the Seattle area and is now based at Starfire Soccer Complex.

Many people ask him why be a part of Tynecastle International Football Club and his answer is very simple: I love the game and want all youth to have an opportunity to play all year around if that is their love as well. He believes at TIFC they can provide youth an option to play select soccer with heart and healthy competition.
