Andrew is one of our international coaches,
originally from England. Played for the Bourneville Academy, home
of Cadbury’s chocolates.
Andrew is almost as passionate about the success of
Tynecastle, as he is about his overseas team
Aston Villa. Any of Andrew players are always welcome to watch
any Aston Villa matches live.
Andrew is in his 2nd year with Tynecastle.
Prior 9 years he has coached with Silver Lake, Evergreen, as well as
with Northwest University. He values the club philosophy at
Tynecastle, which is something he grew up with but never experienced
till last year.
"I believe soccer is an arena in which many life lessons can be learned, among which are developing the ability to work on a team – learning to treat others with respect, to win and lose with dignity, trusting your teammates to do their job, owning your responsibility, sharing credit, accepting good and bad decisions, self-discipline, goal setting, battling through adversity, valuing the gifts and talents of others, and giving all you have every time you step out onto the pitch. Soccer also provides the opportunity to gain leadership skills – to lead by example, to encourage, to motivate and to serve."
